Cosmetology was always a field of interest for me. Ever since I was a little girl I would always style my barbies’ hair, and even try to cut my own! When I was in cosmetology school, I was introduced to Jude’s at a career fair held by my school. Out of all the booths, Jude’s Barbershop was the first to catch my attention. Not only did they have a ton of locations to choose from, but to my surprise they were a family owned company! As a stylist that was really important for me to feel like I was apart of a community and not just a number. I’ve been with Jude’s coming up on 3 years now and I couldn’t ask for a better family! I started knowing nothing but how to hold a pair of clippers, little did I know how far this company would take me. I’ve grown so much as a stylist, team member, and now manager of our West River Dr. location thanks to Jude’s. They not only welcomed me into the industry brand new with open arms, but also formed me into the stylist I am now. Looking back, I would’ve ran at the idea of ever becoming a manager. Jude’s gave me the confidence, education, and drive that I needed to be successful and I’m excited to continue to grow with my team and this company!
Our Paid Training Program is a comprehensive hands-on experience that provides training in the areas of technical skills, guest handling and business building. As an associate, you work with a dedicated educator/service provider to grow into a skilled technician. The shop provides an environment for growth, learning and support. It is our commitment that every person who graduates from our 30-hour program will have all of the skills necessary for success in our industry. We pride ourselves on a culture of growth and we are always on the lookout for potential newly licensed associates. We are looking for individuals with passion, eagerness to learn and willingness to be trained, mentored and coached.

We have a proven system with a career path to chart your career. You can see your earning potential for year 1, year 2, year 3, etc.
If you have limited experience, we have a 30-hour PAID Training Program. We will pay you during your training. Schedule a meeting with our recruiter to find out more.
We provide a wide variety of services to our mostly male clientele. It keeps the day interesting, serving all of our client’s needs. If you only want to do shaves & haircuts – we get you. We ask that you work with your team so they can helpfully service our clients’ needs.
Our laid-back dress code allows you to express yourself in a way that is comfortable while keeping on trend. We ask you to dress at the same level as your clients or, in some cases, the clients you want to service.
Hourly = $
Commission = $$$
You can start out hourly and stay on hourly as long as you like. At some point, you’ll see the math of how much more you can make on commission. When you’re ready, you just let your manager know you want to switch to commission.
Each team member should earn a living based on their worth, rather than the number of hours they work. We pay commission so you can make more money than you would on hourly. Our Barbers and Stylists earn over $39 per hour at some locations, potentially up to $87.00/hour.
We offer a flexible schedule so that you have time to earn a living while having the time to spend it.
If you can do a 6-minute haircut, Jude’s Barbershop is NOT the place for you! Jude’s Barbershop focuses on quality haircuts and great customer service, leaving customers happy, relaxed, and eager to return for their next haircut.
Working in a modern barber shop like Jude’s is trendy, fun, and laidback. You’ll be challenged but you’ll find you’ll be smiling and laughing a lot.
Schedule a time to come into one of our shops and meet some of our current team members and ask them questions, and watch them work. Stay as long as you like. Ask as many questions as you can think of. You’ll be able to see if Jude’s Barbershop is the right fit for you. If it’s not, that’s okay, as we are not for everyone, and it needs to be the right fit for you and our current team.

You choose. If you want to grow in your career, we’re here to work with you to help develop your skills (trends, techniques, new services, social media, consultations, personal business development, etc.). Or if you know what you’re doing and want to be left alone, we’ll leave you alone, but we’ll check in to ensure everything is going well.
We offer many professional development classes to enhance your skills and maybe show you something new. We pay you to attend in-shop classes. Yes, we pay you!

Yes. We hire both licensed barbers and cosmetologists. Most of our service providers have a cosmetology license, but we don’t discriminate.
Most of our shops have more clients than we can service. That’s why we need you. We’ll also show you how to build a clientele who will come back to see you regularly. It’s a simple process if you know how.
